A character study episode where a black hole forces Picard to become a Foreign diplomat to a ferengi, testing his moral fortitude (and, more importantly, allowing Patrick stewart to show off his theatre acting chops). Eventually he is rescued by Worf, but not before giving an impassioned speech on the hazards posed by being missing.
