Data spends the whole episode talking to his log about a Quantum entanglement which turns out to be rather mundane. He takes Beverly crusher's advice too literally and does something funny. Geordi helps by explaining why what he did was inappropriate, causing Data to muse on the pitfalls of trying to become more human.
